DER MANN AUS ROM brings it’s miracles in German cinemas in December 🎦🍿
We are honoured that the Spanish Premiere of CUCKOO will take place in competition “SITGES COLLECTION” of the worlds number one fantasy film festival in the world, both for its seniority and for its media and industrial impact.
The premiere will happen on October 9th at 17:00 with Tilman Singer presenting his film.

We are extremely excited to share that the German Premiere of THE MAN FROM ROME will take place in Competition of this years edition of the Hof International Film Festival !
Almost 2 year after we finished the shooting finally the German audience will have the chance to see this strong drama / thriller. The film we also be released in German cinemas in December under the title DER MAN AUS ROM by missingFILMs.
We are thrilled to share that Tilman Singer’s CUCKOO has been nominated for this years Hessen Film Award as best feature film.

Following the statement: “Eine junge Frau auf einem Fahrrad allein im Wald, nachts. Die Situation ist aufgeladen, gruselig, ja unheimlich, plötzlich wird sie von einem Schatten überholt. Noch ist nichts passiert und doch ist das Grauen jetzt da! Tilmann Singer gelingt es in „Cuckoo“, dem Horrorgenre neue Bilder hinzuzufügen. Dabei spielt er klug mit Zitaten und Motiven aus der Filmgeschichte. Hunter Schafer ist eine zeitgemäße Heldin, sie ist der Mittelpunkt eines hochkarätigen Ensembles, das Singer großartig inszeniert. „Cuckoo“ ist ästhetisch und inhaltlich gleichermaßen spannend. Das Motiv der Brutparasiten wird hier ergänzt und neu gedacht. Die Ästhetik des Films ist gleichermaßen aus der Zeit gefallen und wahnsinnig modern.“
